MIT Web Site Gathers And Displays Information On Government. Ah, the turning of the tables. This reminds me a bit of the Harper's article I read some years back arguing that privacy was an unusual blip in human history, and the best way to deal with its erosion was to completely abandon the concept, but in exchange make everything transparent, so you can watch the watchers, as it were. The reasoning was hanging on to privacy only protected those with the power to watch others, basically. Fascinating article.
